The Client is a leading Real Estate service provider and are one of the major global players. They are looking for a professional Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join them at their office in central London.
The key aim of this role will be to provide support and assistance in all areas of Health, Safety & Environment across the Company assisting the departments for all areas of Safety, Health and Environmental compliance.
Assisting the Department in maintaining compliance with pre-programmed surveillance visits by an external verification body for continued accreditation to ISO 14001 & OHSAS18001. They operate an integrated management systems (Quality Assurance ISO 9001, Environment ISO 14001 & Occupational Safety & Health OHSAS18001)
You will carry out risk assessments and assist in implementing action plans.
Attend meetings with staff across the UK as and when required to raise the profile of Safety, Health and Environmental Policies, Procedures and Campaigns and ensure implementation.
You maintain H&S, & Environmental Document Control, updating paper based and electronic Procedures and Manuals on the Company intranet for continued compliance
Attend the H&S, & Environmental Committees
Answer questions and provide specific advice and guidance on Environment & H&S to all staff
Assist in remedial actions resulting from external verification reports
Assist in maintaining the Register of Environmental & H&S Legislation
Brief the Department Director on Environmental & H&S matters as appropriate

Experience:
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of legal principals of health, safety and environmental requirements

You will hold your NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent, have practical industry experience of implementing systems (risk assessments & management systems).
IEMA – Environmental Certificate would also be advantageous.
