Process Development Group Leader
To lead and provide day-to-day people and operational management of the Process Development function at the Technology Development Centre.
To provide proactive and constructive leadership to the Process Development team to ensure continuous improvement and development of unit processes, covering substrate patterning, surface treatment, printing, cathode deposition and encapsulation. This will involve establishing processes that enable integration of new technological device / materials platforms for improved performance and or reduction in cost.
KEY RESULT AREAS and ACTIVITIES
Process development activity will focus on achieving best display performance through integration of platform unit processes and materials. The job holder will take full responsibility for all managerial aspects of the team and function.
•Provide leadership and operational line management for the process development group, including objective setting, performance management, team development, coaching and resource management.
•Develop and manage capital and expense budgets
This position requires the post holder to possess skills and experience in both technical and people management.
•A science/engineering graduate.
•Experience of working in a rapidly changing high-tech company.
•A minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing a scientific/technical team, operating in a complex environment.
•Strong planning and organisation skills.
